Located in the outskirts of Munich this childcare center transforms a long, narrow site into a bright and playful environment for young children. Group rooms on both floors open to the southwest, filling the interior with natural light and connecting directly to outdoor play terraces and a generous garden. A set-back entrance creates a welcoming forecourt that eases traffic on the narrow residential street. Four small pavilions soften the building's presence within the neighborhood and provide additional storage space. The result is a compact, thoughtful design that balances community needs, high-quality daylight, and ample outdoor play areas.
